Weddings
I very randomly started photographing weddings when the older sister of high school acquaintance contacted me and asked me to shoot her wedding. She did so despite my having no experience nor training whatsoever in doing so, and only a small portfolio of flowers, landscapes, and birds for her to gauge my skill. I can proudly say she was thrilled with the results, and so I started shooting weddings on the side! While I did enjoy the challenge of faithfully documenting such significant days, the inherent stress, fast pace, and one-chance-only atmosphere of the day started to make photography more of a job than a passion, and so I stopped doing them (with a few exceptions; I'm open to the right clients/venue!)
