Home to perhaps the most striking and scenic of all landscapes in the contiguous United States!
The Southwest
Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico
Mexico
The mountain pictures come from the Toluca region, and the ocean pictures come from La Paz, in Baja California Sur
Oregon
Gorgeous coastline full of monoliths, and volcanoes lurking inland
California
Most of these pictures were taken in the San Francisco area and just north of it, in the Marin Headlands and on Mt. Tamalpais
Colorado
Though I'm an east coaster at heart, it's hard to beat Colorado if the mountains are your happy place!
Texas
You have to travel really far west to Big Bend and Guadalupe Mountains National Park to see mountains, but you will have them to yourself when you get there!
North Carolina
My adoptive home. I went to school in Chapel Hill, and lived out in Black Mountain for a few years. I currently reside in the capitol city of Raleigh!
New Hampshire
Home to the majestic White Mountains and the tallest point on the east coast, Mt. Washington, New Hampshire has among the toughest and most rewarding hikes you'll see anywhere in the country.
Vermont
A true gem of a state; quaint and charming without trying to be that way. I lived here for about 3 years at the base of Mt. Ascutney, in West Windsor.
Maine
Rugged and rocky coastline, inland mountains, and vast wildernesses
Connecticut
Being born and raised in Connecticut, this state will always have a piece of my heart, even if its scenery is modest in comparison to the rest of New England!
